All-League Academic Teams Announced
Fourteen Saint Francis Students Make the Team
For the past several years, the Northwest Kansas League has honored student athletes by naming an All-NWKL Academic Team. To qualify, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.7 (out of 4.0) or above and be a letter winner in his/her respective sport. Only football and volleyball academic teams are being announced at this time. Basketball, wrestling, and track will be determined during 2nd semester.
The Lady Indians volleyball team had a team grade point average of 3.59. The following players were named to the the All-NWKL Academic Volleyball Team: Holly Keller, Dara Loyd, Kaitlin Marin, Sara Miller, Teri Walters, Elizabeth Gienger, and Andrea Holzwarth.
The Indian football team had a team grade point average of 3.159. The following players were named to the All-NWKL Academic Football Team: Ted Crabtree, Chance Hobrock, Justin Sherlock, Gavin Smull (mgr.), Sam Sowers, and Trent Raile.
