Junior High Wrestlers Open Season
On Thursday, January 17th, the junior high wrestling team opened their 2008 season by traveling to Colby. The young Indians wrestled a dual with teams from Oberlin and Colby.
Winning matches for the Indians were: Casey Keller, Foster Grant, Joey McCormick, Taylor O'leary (2), Logan Whitmore, Lucas Raile, Ross Nicklos (2), Ty Zweygardt (2), Dylan Wolaver, Sam Reed (3), Zach Gienger (2), Martin Hnizdil, Lucas Carmichael, Nathan Lamb, and Dylan Peter.
On Saturday, January 19th, the team traveled to Goodland to compete in the Mustang Invitational.
Winning matches in Goodland were: Foster Grant (2-3rd place), Logan Whitmore (2- 2nd place), Mikey Leibbrandt (2-2nd place), Issac Schiltz, Lucas Raile (3-champion), Ross Nicklos (2-2nd place), Ty Zweygardt (3-champion), Brock Zweygardt (2-2nd place), Dylan Wolaver (3-2nd place),Thomas Douthit (2-2nd place), Dillion Straub, Sam Reed (2-2nd place), Zach Gienger (3-3rd place), Martin Hnizdil (2-3rd place), Lucas Carmichael, Nathan Lamb, and Dylan Peter (2-3rd place).
