Benefit Concert for Bandshell Renovation

The Cheyenne County Cruisers Saturday in the Park Car and Bike Show is Saturday, May 10th. As part of the show, the Cruisers are holding a benefit concert in the bandshell of Sawhill Park on Friday, May 9th. The performance will begin at 8:30 pm and last until about 10:00 pm.
Entertainment will be provided by Endre Samu of Limon, Colorado. Endre is an Elvis "tribute artist." (Endre performed at last year's concert when the club gave the proceeds to area tornado victims in the Bird City area.) The performance is free to the public, but a free-will donation will be taken and all proceeds will go toward the renovation of the bandshell in Sawhill Park. "Elvis" will also perform Saturday at the car show from 10 am until 11:30 am with any proceeds collected at that time also going toward the bandshell renovation project. Come enjoy the music, and if you can, also help with the community bandshell project.
