Several Tracksters Earn League Championships
Five St. Francis student/athletes earned gold in recent Northwest Kansas League Track and Field Meet competition. In the high school NWKL track meet, Trent Kinen was a double winner. Trent won the 300 meter intermediate hurdles in a time of 41.13 and also won the 110 meter high hurdles with a 15.29 clocking. Ted Crabtree placed first in the pole vault with 13' 0". In junior high competition, young Indian athletes came home with three 1st place winners. Jenna Hill won the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.17. Ashlynn Lambert won the 800 meters with a time of 2:40.90. Isaac Schiltz won the pole vault with a height of 10' 6". Many other athletes also turned in good performances and helped accumulate team points.
