Welcome Home, Mr. Carmichael!
July 14th, 2008--Principal Scott "Hoagie" Carmichael is now recovering at home from injuries sustained in a motorcycle-vehicle accident on June 15th while traveling in Colorado. The accident occurred west of Idaho Springs on I-70. Hoagie suffered six broken ribs, a fractured left tibia and scapula, and a bruised left lung in the accident.
Since the accident, Mr. Carmichael had been recovering in St. Anthony Hospital and Colorado Acute Specialty Care Hospital in Denver. Hoagie is in great spirits (as you would expect) and very happy to be home again. He will still require much rest in his continued recovery, but we are all very happy to have him back in St. Francis!
