High School Football Team Prepares For Action

The St. Francis Indians will open the 2009 football season in Colby on Friday night, September 4th. Kickoff is at 7:00 PM. The Indians have been working hard to perfect their football skills in practice and the team also had a "good summer in the weight room," according to new head coach Nathan Smith. The 2009 edition of the Indians includes the following players:

Seniors: Grady Brunk, Darris Keller, Terrence Lamb, Alex Long, Jeff Meyer, Benjamin Neitzel, Freddy Pacheco, Matt Raile, and Trent Raile

Juniors: Alex Draper, Garrett Figgins, Tye Gilliland, Adam Guthmiller, Robbie Herman, Brooks Hobrock, Cody Killingsworth, Brett Lampe, Tyler Lauer, Ryan Owens, Trevor Reed, Braden Schmid, and Cody Sherlock

Sophomores: Jonathan Butler, Gavin Cooper, Martin Hnizdil, Nathan Lamb, David Palencia, Sam Reed, and Ty Zweygardt,
