Junior High Track Season Begins
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe 2010 junior high track season is now underway. Thirty-one athletes reported to practice on March 22nd. There are twelve girls and eighteen boys out for junior high track this season. The team is coached by Ted Busse and Kent Kechter. As is normal for this time of year, the weather hasn't always been conducive for the desired workout schedule, but both the athletes and coaches are working hard to prepare for the upcoming meets.
The first scheduled track meet is on March 30th at 10:00 AM when the teams will be competing in the Burlington Invitational.
The 2010 junior high track team members are:
Eighth grade girls: Randee Grover, Bailey Merklin, and Alyssa Schlepp
Seventh grade girls: Kyla Bandel, Mariah Beikman, Brianna Cooks, Echo Jones, Ashlee Orth, Dallas Reed, McKayla Taylor, Justice Wiley, and Valerie Wurm
Eighth grade boys: Jacob Butler, Gaten Cooper, Erik Hart, Lane Hoffman, Logan Lampe, Wyatt Landenberger, Tyler Lee, Lenny Olivares, Derek Queen, Mason Schiltz, Scott Warren, and Austin White
Seventh grade boys: Tristan Archer, Shakotah Blanka, Cade Bracelin, Jonathan Hoard, Riley Shay, and Kyler Zweygardt
