6th Grade Visits Northwest Tech
The St. Francis sixth grade class visited the Northwest Kansas Technical College on Wednesday, April 28th. The students attended the annual 6th Grade Career Fair. The activities for the day started in the Student Union. The students were placed in 4 groups and each group toured six different career options that were represented. The students also spent time in the Exploration Adventure area where about 25 occupations were represented. The students had the opportunity to hear about the 16 technical trades that are taught at NWKTC, several occupational areas from Colby Community College, as well as other professions from the Goodland community.
Julie Wolters, sixth graded instructor, sponsored the activity. The educational time was enjoyed by all!
