Students Perform Well at State Music Festival

Students from the SFCHS Music Department participated in the 2A State Music Festival in Concordia on Saturday, April 25th. The students had a great time and also performed very well. Stephanie Perry earned a I rating on her vocal solos, "Song of the River" and "Into the Night."
Other excellent solo performances were given at the festival by Logan Whitmore, trumpet, and vocal soloists Sarah Guthmiller, Cara Hunt, Jacob Riedel, and Kim Voeller.

Ensembles receiving II ratings were the Woodwind Quartet (Tilyn Bell, Alyssa Lee, Mikaela Grace, and Trista Orth), the Flute Trio (Cara Hunt, Jodie Hilt, and Stephanie Perry), and the 24-menber Vocal Class Mixed Ensemble.
