Junior High Wrestlers Compete in Oberlin
On Thursday, February 18th, the junior high wrestling team traveled to Oberlin to compete with several NWKL teams. The young matmen had matches against opponents from Decatur Community (Oberlin), Rawlins County (Atwood), and Hoxie. St. Francis won 12 matches and lost 26 on the evening.
Eighth grader Scott Warren (who went 2-0) commented, "Those were three tough teams today, but I think we're ready for league. It's hard to believe the season is about over--it has gone fast."
