Twenty-four Seniors Graduate

Twenty-four St. Francis seniors were honored at the the annual commencement exercises on Sunday, March 22. Norman Morrow, pastor of the St. Francis Church of Christ, gave the invocation, message, and benediction. Those serving in the military presently and in the past were recognized. The seniors presented flowers (made from steel by Martin Hilt) to their parents as the class song "Who We Are" played. 

Jodie
Jodie Hilt, senior class vice-president gave the senior farewell. Jalyn McCauley, class president, gave the senior talk. Scholarships, worth approximately $440,000, were presented by Scott Carmichael, principal, and Steve Jenkins, class sponsor.

Diplomas were presented by Ed Marin and Bonnie Zweygardt, members of the St. Francis Board of Education. The Concert Band, under the direction of Debbie Fiala, provided musical numbers during the commencement exercises. Out-going members of the St. Francis Board of Education, Bonnie Zweygardt and John Knodel, were recognized for their years of service.

Seniors receiving their diplomas were:  Ryan Alex Draper, Garrett Thomas Figgins, Tye Joshua Gilliland, Mikaela Rae Grace, Adam James Guthmiller, Robert James Herman, Christina Janae Hilt, Jodie Lynn Hilt, Shayla Jean Hilt, Brooks Landon Hobrock, Brandon Wayne Keeker, Cody James Killingsworth, Brett Jordan Lampe, Tyler Scott Lauer, Alyson Renae Marin, Jalyn Nicole McCauley, Ryan Kent Owens, Trevor Shane Reed, Aubree Lin Schlepp, Braden Taylor Schmid, Cody James Sherlock, Nicholas Shane Smith, Sarah Renee Trembly, and Zachary Aaron Zweygardt.

Serving as honor guard were juniors Tilyn Bell, Ross Nicklos, Caitlin Northrup, Isaac Schiltz, Christina Schoenrogge, and Logan Whitmore.

A graduation DVD was played before the ceremony that was prepared by Aubree Schlepp.
