Homecoming Royalty Crowned at Pep Rally
The 2012 Homecoming Pep Rally was held on Friday afternoon, September 16th. The students and public enjoyed a variety of cheers, class yells, contests, pep band music, and dancing. The pep rally was held to build enthusiasm for the evening's football matchup between the Holyoke Dragons and the Indians. The Indians won the homecoming game 36-6.
Kaitlin Figgins, daughter of Leeanna Windell and Brad Figgins, was selected as the 2012 homecoming queen. Brock Zweygardt, son of Darci Unger and Keith Zweygardt, was crowned king. Other homecoming candidates included Lexi Hilt, Jacquelyn Ketzner, Caitlin Northrup, Trista Orth, Christina Schoenrogge, Jon Butler, Gavin Cooper, Sam Reed, Logan Whitmore, and Ty Zweygardt. Crown bearers were Avery Jensen, daughter of Mandi and Travis Jensen, and Jaxson Nelson, son of Jessica Nelson. They were escorted by Shara Johnson, 1992 St. Francis homecoming queen.
