Fall Sports Open House Friday
The 2014 Fall Sports Open House will be held on Friday evening, August 29, at 7:00 PM in the St. Francis High School Gymnasium. The program will include an introduction of players and coaches as well as a public scrimmage by the high school volleyball and football teams. The Open House is FREE to the public, and everyone is encouraged to attend. Please DO NOT bring soap or sports drinks for "admission" to the Open House as in past years.
The program will begin with some introductory remarks by High School Principal David Morrow and Athletic Director Carl Werner. These remarks will be followed by the introduction of the high school volleyball and football coaches. The coaches will introduce their teams and also make comments about the upcoming season.
Talley Morrow will serve as the head volleyball coach. Jeff Olofson and Aly Marin will be the assistant coaches. Serving as the head football coach will be Kyle Buffington. Kyle will be assisted by Devin Dinkel, Seth Swihart, and Nick O'Loughlin. The football team will be introduced, and then the team will move to the practice field for a public scrimmage while the volleyball team scrimmages in the gymnasium.
