Kyla Places Fourth
Launch the media gallery 1 playerKyla Bandel placed fourth in the Kansas State High School Golf Tournament on Monday, October 20. The tournament was held at the Emporia Municipal Golf Course in Emporia, Kansas. Kyla earned the 4th place finish with a 18-hole score of 93. Kyla turned in a 47 score on the opening nine and closed with a 46 on the back nine for the 93 total. Senior Cortney Gardner from Eureka won the individual championship with a score of 89.
The team championship was won by Caney Valley. The next four teams (in order of placing) were: Eureka, Syracuse, Hoisington, and Cheney.
