Christmas Concert Enjoyed
The junior and senior high music students presented their annual Christmas Concert on Tuesday evening, December 16, in the St. Francis High School Auditorium. Five different groups, all under the direction of music instructor Debbie Fiala, presented several musical numbers. The evening began with the Junior High Vocal group and was followed by presentations from the High School Vocal, Advanced Music, Junior High Band, and High School Band classes. Everyone seemed to have a good time.
The Junior High Vocal presented the following pieces: "The Twelve Groovy Days of Christmas" and "On the Roof."
The High School Vocal sang: "Angels' Gloria", "O Holy Night," "Africa Medley," and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas".
The Advanced Music Group presented three selections: "The Little Cradle Rocked," "Christmas Canon Rock," and "Underneath the Tree".
The Junior High Band played: "Bell Carol Rock," "Christmas at the Movies," and "Santa at the Symphony'.
The High School Band concluded the evening with three pieces: "Carol of the Bells," "Nutcracker Suite," and "Merry Christmas to All."
