Coach Dylan Loyd shared the following comments about the competition, "For the first time this season our junior high wrestlers finally had an opportunity to compete in front of their home fans, and they did an outstanding job. I felt like we did a great job of going out and competing. We won several matches against kids who had previously defeated us earlier this junior high season. As a coach I am very proud of how this group performed and the improvements they have made throughout this season. Right now we are hitting the peak of our season with the league tournament being our last scheduled competition. These young men had set a goal for themselves to be league champions earlier this season and, they have been working hard to attain that goal. It’s been a joy to coach these kids and I’m proud of each one of them for the work they have put it and their willingness to be the very best that they can be. Looking forward to watching them compete at the league tournament." The junior high wrestlers will compete in the Northwest Kansas League Tournament in Hoxie on Monday, February 23.
