K-3 Thanksgiving Program Enjoyed

The Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students presented a special Thanksgiving music program on Monday, November 16th. The program was held in the grade school gymnasium.

The Kindergarten class presented an old fashioned Thanksgiving Pageant entitled “It’s Thanksgiving.” They were quite cute dressed as Pilgrim boys and girls, Indian boys and girls, and, of course, turkeys! The 1st, 2nd, & 3rd grade students followed with a wide variety of songs, dances, & musical numbers with their program entitled “Celebrate Thanksgiving.”

A dress rehearsal was held Monday morning at 10:15 a.m. The twenty students in Kindergarten performed first followed by the sixty 1st, 2nd, & 3rd grade students.

The kids worked very hard and enjoyed learning about the history of Thanksgiving. The students were under the direction of Jean Ann Confer, K-6 music teacher.
