Saint Francis Junior High Football Team Rolls Over Atwood Buffaloes

FRANCIS, KAN. - The St. Francis Junior High Football team scored an outstanding win at home, 46-0, Thursday, September 22 against the Atwood Buffaloes.
The game ended a couple minutes into the third quarter once the Indians’ score met the Mercy Rule.
“These guys just keep getting better and better,” said Junior High Assistant Coach Steve Kirkham. “I take pride in these guys, they have been so good for this season.”
Head Junior High Football Coach Nick O’Loughlin said he was also proud of the team’s performance. “We did very well out there today, we hit hard, and ran harder,” O’Loughlin said.
The Indians remain undefeated after the fourth game in the season. Rylan Doyle, St. Francis eighth grader, said he hopes they stay undefeated.
“We did really good, and I feel this season has been going great so far for us,” said Doyle.
