Sainty JV football remains undefeated, scalping Hoxie Indians 30-0

This win was the second game for Saint Francis junior varsity because three games on the schedule were cancelled.The Saint Francis junior varsity Indians smoked the Hoxie Indians on October 3, 2016. With a score of 30-0, the St. Francis Indians took home another victorious win.
“I didn't get to play, but I saw my teammates give it their all,” said Jaron Berig, Saint Francis freshman football player.
Due to the weather, the Indians’ game ended at halftime.
“I wish the game would have lasted longer, but we kept the knife to their throats,” said Connor Keller, Saint Francis sophomore.
The junior varsity team remains undefeated, winning their second game on Monday night. The junior varsity team had six games scheduled at the beginning of the year, but has had three canceled.
“The kids played well, played hard, and it’s good the JV kids got experience in the game,” said Devin Dinkle, Saint Francis junior varsity defensive coordinator.
The next scheduled junior varsity game will be Monday, October 10, as they take on Atwood at 5:30 p.m. at home.
