Junior High Lady Indians Take on Lady Buffs at Home

The A-Team Lady Indians lost the game to the Buffs 27-32.Saint Francis junior high Lady Indians fought hard against the Atwood Lady Buffaloes Thursday night. Throughout the game the Lady Indians A-Team girls fought hard even when they were down. The halftime score was 12-19 and the girls ended up losing with a final score of 27-32.
Saint Francis A-Team player and eighth grader Kattie Wurm said last year it was easier to play against Atwood because she was on B-Team. She said A-Team has been more challenging.

The junior high Lady Indians lost to the Atwood Buffaloes 27-32Lady Indian B-Team pushed through with a hefty win against the Lady Buffaloes. The girls kept going throughout the night and never giving up. When the Lady Buffs made a few baskets, the Indians would respond with more baskets to counterbalance the score to the original Sainty lead. The Lady Indians stayed ahead with a halftime score of 15-2, and a final score of 21-15.
Ellee Krien, Saint Francis A and B-Team player and sixth grader, said the most memorable part of the game was when she got a fast break layup.

Miah Hackney, Saint Francis seventh grader, goes up strong on her fast break layup. The Sainty B-Team girls defeated Atwood 21-15.The Saint Francis C-Team defeated the Lady Buffaloes, 4-2.
The junior high Lady Indians will play again at home on Monday, November 21 against the Sharon Springs Wildcats at 4 p.m.
