Saint Francis Junior High Boys Basketball Splits with Atwood

Saint Francis Junior High Indians split wins with Atwood on Thursday, November 16. In B-Team boys action, Saint Francis lost 16-28.  Rylan Doyle, Saint Francis eighth grader and B-Team player, said his favorite part of the game was shooting two free throws. The game was intense for the boys, but they fought hard. Doyle’s advice for the younger players is to always stay focused during practice.

In the A-Team game, the boys came out on top for a victory. The score was 36-20 against the Buffaloes. Kobe Tice, Saint Francis eighth grader A-Team player, said his favorite part about the game was winning Thursday after they lost to Hoxie on Tuesday. Tice said his advice for the younger players would be to keep working and trying hard.

They played with a lot of energy. So don’t be a stranger, come and watch the Indians play. The junior high Indians will play on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 4 p.m. as they face Dighton at home.
