5th Grade Garden
5th Grade worked hard in the garden this fall. They were able to harvest many vegetables that Loretta cooked for lunch. They had corn on the cob, beans, zucchini, spaghetti squash, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and pumpkins. They also concluded the garden season by visiting Elmer and Dorothy Kellner's garden east of town. The kids were lucky to be able to bring home many vegetables to share with their families. Before heading back to the school, the Kellner's had some home grown watermelon cut and ready to serve. 5th grade is looking forward to Spring when it's time to plant and start the garden all over again!
