The Saint Francis Community High School Vocal Department perform classic Christmas songs for the community Monday night at "Cocoa and Carols."

The Indians audibly brought Christmas spirit to the Saint Francis cafeteria Monday night at the winter music performance of “Cocoa and Carols.”

The song selection included classics that everyone in the packed cafeteria enjoyed.

Talley Morrow, Saint Francis Music Education Instructor, said she enjoyed the whole show because everyone was excited and she enjoyed the opportunity to do it.

Seth Mills, Saint Francis freshman, said his favorite part of the performance was playing the mark tree. A mark tree is a percussion instrument consisting of many small chimes.

Cocoa was served before the show with crushed peppermint candies placed on the table to add to your drink. The vocal and band students served the audience. It was a festive time for all.

Morrow said she will do another "Cocoa and Carols" program in the future.
