Keanu Bussell poses for a senior photoshoot on Greene Field.Keanu Bussell, Saint Francis senior, was born in Aurora, Colorado, on September 16, 1998. Later he moved to Montbello (Denver), and then Colorado Springs. However, now he lives in Saint Francis, Kansas, and loves it here. Some of his favorite pastimes include doing farm work, strolling around town, creating art, playing football, and sitting at home and chilling with a book. He lives at his home in the country with his mother, step-father, two brothers, and an assortment of animals.
When he plays football, he enjoys playing defensive end. He hates homework and is not a big fan of math. However, he said his favorite class is art, and overall, he does pretty well in school.
His home life is very relaxed Bussell said, “we are pretty lazy.” Bussell has a girlfriend, EmmaLee Archuleta, Saint Francis sophomore. Archuleta said she and Bussell have been dating for almost a year and they love each other very much.
Bussell said he is generally healthy and is grateful for it. He has an introverted personality but enjoys company in small groups. Jaron Berig, Saint Francis freshman, said Bussell is his best friend and they used to live near each other in Aurora. “He is a great person who can be depended on,” Berig said.
Bussell enjoys working on the farm and taking care of the animals. He occasionally enjoys a coffee at Fresh Seven coffee shop.
“I love my life and I wouldn't trade it for any other,” Bussell said.
