Junior High Students Perform Well at Festival
The Northwest Kansas League Junior High Music Festival was held in Colby on Wednesday, February 15. Many St. Francis students participated in the competition. Several St. Francis students received the highest ratings given by the judges and all participants received constructive criticism for improvement.
Students receiving I ratings (Outstanding) for vocal solos were Hadleigh Hilt and Hailey Robbins.
Receiving II ratings (Excellent) for vocal solos were DJ Easter, Jordyn Faulkender, Joani Fuller, Jasper Hunt, Cutter Neitzel, and Dawn Rice.
Students receiving I ratings (Outstanding) for instrumental solos were Jasper Hunt, Schuyler Lennox, Mia Morrow, and McKenna Poling.
Receiving a II rating (Excellent) for their instrumental solo was Jordyn Faulkender,
The 7-8 Grade Band and Choir each received II ratings (Excellent) from the judges.
