Junior High Volleyball Begins
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe junior high volleyball team has been practicing since August 14 in preparation for their first competition. The girls are working hard to develop skills and understanding of volleyball to be competitive. The girls will have their first competition on Thursday, August 31, in Quinter. The first serve scheduled for 4:30 p.m. foir the competition in Quinter.
The team is coached by Shaylynn Zweygardt. Tiffany Poet and Talley Morrow are serving as assistant coaches. Twenty-seven girls are participating in volleyball including managers Dani Broughman and Savannah Morris. Team members are listed below.
Eighth Grade: Jordyn Faulkender, Mia Hackney, Hadleigh Hilt, Lyden Lampe, Mia Morrow, McKenna Poling, Hailey Robbins, and Bailey Workman
Seventh Grade: Madison Barnhart, Bree De Waal, Molly Gilliland, Jesslynn Houtman, Ellee Krien, Angela Ramirez, Janie Ramirez, October Tumbleson, Talexa Weeter, and Rian Zimbal
Sixth Grade: Addy Christensen, Kinley Havel, Makaila Matthies, Hayden Lennox, Jacki Milliken, and Kaylee Moberly
