Sub-State Assignments Released
The Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) has released the 2017 Sub-State assignments for volleyball. St. Francis will be participating in the Sub-State held at Trego Community High School in Wakeeney on Saturday, October 21. Nine teams have been assigned to the Sub-State, so a "play-in" match between to the two bottom-seeded teams will be necessary to decide the teams participating on the 8-team bracket. Though official information is yet to be received, the tournament will likely begin at 1:00 p.m. at Trego Community High School. When the seeding is completed, updated information will be added to the school website.
Current records of the Sub-State teams (according to Maxpreps.com on 10)/4/17) are: 1. Plainville 22-2 (.912); 2. Smith Center 23-7 (.767); 3. St. Francis 19-8 (.704) 4. Hoxie 16-7 (.696); 5. Hill City 11-11 (.500); 6. Trego 6-8 (.429); 7. Decatur Community 6-17 (.261); 8. Ellis 4-18 (.182); and 9. Oakley 1-14 (.067).
