Students Selected for District Honor Choir
Several St. Francis High School music students were recently selected to participate in District Honor Band and Choir. The following student-musicians were chosen to perform with the KMEA Northwest Kansas District High School Honor Ensembles:
Chosen by audition for the band: Nick Paulsen (8th chair trumpet) and Jessica Confer (9th chair trumpet).
Chosen by audition for the choir: Soprano April Fernandez, altos Echoe Lennox and Audrey Meyer, tenor Alex Queen, and low bass Doyle Easter.
The students will participate in a clinic and then perform in concert on Saturday, December 2, at Fort Hays State University, in the Beach-Schmidt Performing Arts Center.
