Basketball Sub-State Assignments Released
The Kansas State High School Activities Association recently released the 2018 basketball Sub-State Tournament assignments. St. Francis will compete in post-season play in the 2A Sub-State Tournament in WaKeeney, Kansas. The sub-state seeding will be on Wednesday, February 21.
Girls quarterfinal games will be played at the higher seed on Monday, February 26. On Tuesday, February 27, the boys will play at the higher seed. Semi-finals and finals will be played at the primary site (WaKeeney); Thursday, March 1 – Girls; Friday, March 2 – Boys. The girls and boys finals will be played on Saturday, March 3.
Participating teams in the tournament include: Ellis, Hill City, Hoxie, Oakley, Oberlin - Decatur Community, Plainville, St. Francis, and WaKeeney - Trego Community. The sub-state champion will advance to the Kansas State Tournament to be held at Bramlage Coliseum on the campus of Kansas State University.
