Indians Sweep Quinter Invitational
Lady Indians Place 12th
The St. Francis Indians scored 122 team points to run away with the championship of the Quinter Invitational on Friday, April 27. The Lady Indians scored 17 team points to place 12th. Twenty-two teams participated in the meet. St. Francis had several individual event winners. Winning events at the Quinter Invitational were Jordan Raby (100 meters), Wyatt Hackler (200 meters),Tate Busse (800 meters), the boys 4 X 100 meter relay team (Adam Krien, Jordan Raby, Dalton Straub, and Wyatt Hackler), and the boys 4 X 400 meter relay team (Jordan Raby, Adam Krien, Wyatt Hackler, and Tate Busse).
The Lady Indians highest placer was the 4 X 800 meter relay team. The team of Hanna Zimbal, Taighe Weeter, Kattie Wurm, and Emma Johnson earned 2nd place.
Girls Division
The girls division was won by Ellis. The Lady Railers totaled 92 team points to easily win the meet. Golden Plains placed second with 55 and Northern Valley earned third with 53 points. The rest of the teams placed in the following order: 4th - Hoxie 45.33, 5th - Rawlins County 44, 6th - Quinter 43.83, 7th - Ness City 43, 8th - Wallace County 33, 9th - Greeley County 32, 10th - Stockton 24, 11th - Hill City 19.5, 12th - St. Francis 17, 13th - Triplains 16.33, 14th - Wheatland 12, 15th - Weskan 10, 16th - Dighton 6, 17th (tie) - Cheylin 4, 17th (tie) - Natoma 4, and 17th (tie) - Palco 4. Heartland Christian, Western Plains, and Brewster did not score in the meet.
