Drama Production Enjoyed

Senioritissupposed affliction of students in their final year of high school or college, characterized by a decline in motivation or performance.

Supposed? Hardly! Any senior, parent of a senior, or teacher of a senior knows that senioritis is a real and troubling affliction.

Senioritis was also the subject and title of this year's Drama production. In the production, the drama cast presented some problems faced by students in their last year of high school. The script by Bradley Walton addressed the issue with a little poignancy and a lot of humor.

Ms. Allen, drama instructor, said this is the smallest drama class she has ever had (9 students). She allowed the students to select the script, and with 6 being seniors, she thought it was not surprising that "Senioritis" was chosen.

The drama cast consisted of Connor Keller (Norman), Richard Johnson (Lloyd), Mason Schmid (Alex), Isaiah Lee (Stevie), Shelby Wolff (Andrea), Cody Baxter (Mr. Wallis), Audrey Meyer (clerk & Principal Wilson), and Shaylyn Zweygardt (Ms. Harris). Jaron Berig served as a one-man crew member.

Performances were on Sunday, December 9, at 3:00 and Monday, December 10, at 7:00 in the St. Francis High School Auditorium. Everyone in attendance seemed to enjoy the production.
