The A-Team boys fought a hard game, but lost with a score of 21 to 32.
“Communication is probably the biggest thing we need to get better at,” said Garrett Helton, eighth grader.
The B-Team didn’t fare any better in their endeavors, getting a lower score than the A-team. The boys lost to Dighton with a score of 7 to 41.
Even with a shorter game, the C-Team also lost to Dighton with a score of 2-5. They played a hard game. But still they could not come out victorious.
Although the team faced a loss all around they still have a high morale.
“I love basketball because it is a really fundamental sport and you have to work at it to be good,” said Ben Busse, eighth grader.
Everyone on the team loves basketball for a different reason.
“My favorite part about basketball is that it is a very skillful game to play,” said Preston Witzel, eighth grader.
