Wrestlers Compete In Wray
On Saturday, December 15, the St. Francis Indian wrestling team traveled to Wray, Colorado, to compete in the Bob Smith Wray Invitational Wrestling Tournament. The Indians earned a 5th place finish in the tournament scoring 81.5 team points. Wray won the tournament scoring 252.5 team points. Yuma was a distant second with 135. The rest of the field finished in the following order: Rye - 3rd (111.5), Holyoke - 4th (82,5), St. Francs - 5th (81.5), Akron - 6th (80.5), Fowler - 7th (67.5), Wiggins - 8th (65), Cheyenne Wells - 9th (57), Sedgwick County / Fleming - 10th (34), Byers - 11th (27.5), Merino 12th (27), Wray X -13th (26), Brewster - 14th (21), Littleton - 15th (0).
