Seniors Lauren and Lindsey Johnson hug their parents on senior night. It was their last basketball game to play on their home court.

Seniors Lindsey and Lauren Johnson went out with a bang for their last home game on Thursday, February 7. The SFCHS Lady Indians beat the Sharon Springs Lady Wildcats with an ending score of 52-46, advancing their record to ten wins and six loses.

“We pulled ahead in the third quarter, but in the fourth quarter they started catching back up because we started fouling. At the minute mark, it took a really long time because we started fouling,” said Freshman Jordyn Faulkender.

Karly Bandel, junior, said the Lady Indians worked hard to win the game. “We felt victorious  after the game because we knew we fought hard, worked together, and gave it our all,” said Bandel

Since it was senior night, it was great that the girls won. “I am sad that it has came to an end, but I’m excited to see what the future has in store for me,” said Lauren Johnson

The Indians will play in Hoxie on Thursday, Feb. 14.
