Students Perform Well at State Festival
The State Music Festival for solos and small ensembles was held on Saturday, April 27, at Hesston College. Several students had previously qualified with performances at the Regional Music Festival in Oberlin on March 30.At the State Music Festival, the St. Francis students performed well again.
Students receiving I Outstanding ratings were: Echoe Lennox and Hadleigh Hilt on their vocal solos. Receiving II Excellent ratings were the Ladies Ensemble, April Fernandez (vocal solo), Jessica Confer (trumpet solo), McKenna Poling (flute solo), and Hailey Robbins (vocal solo).
