Senior aspires to be successful like her mother

Yaneiri Quezada is a hardworking senior, who is a dedicated dancer, artist, and has an interesting job.

She said her dream is to be successful in life like her role model, her mother.

“If I can be like my mom, I will consider it successful,” Quezada said. “She is just perfect.”

Her mom makes loops to humanely castrate bulls and when Yaneiri isn’t at school she tries to help her mom as much as possible.

“You probably don’t hear of many high school girls making loops to castrate bulls for a job but I don’t mind it,” she said.

“I consider myself more of a dependant person; I need people to keep going in life,” said Quezada.

Quezada has a very close family.

“My family is super close and we are all hard workers,” Quezada said.

Both of her parents work with cattle and she helps out when she can.  She also has two siblings a little brother and sister and she is very close with both of them.

Italia Gutierrez, senior, said she is Quezada’s best friend. “I love her family,” Gutierrez said. “My family and hers have a lot in common and get along well.”

Bree De Waal, freshmen, said she is a good friend of Yanieri.

“I love being around Yaneiri because I feel like we have a lot in common,” De Waal said. “We always have fun together. Her, me and Italia all get along together well.”

She says a perfect outfit for her would be “something comfy but stylish.”  She loves fashion and hair, which are some of the reasons she wants to go into that field of work.

Quezada plans to go to college to become a cosmetologist.

“I would love to have my own place to work and be my own boss within 10 years,” Yaneiri said.

Quezada’s career goals include becoming famous in the field.

“I hope to be the next big known designer or hair stylist,” she said.
