Coach Nathan Smith made the following comments on the meet, "The girls had a nice day at Colby.  They are a young and/or inexperienced bunch of tracksters but they've been working hard and are continuing to improve.  The girls were ready to get to that first meet and see where they are and all of them are right about where the coaches thought they'd be.  Some of them are still trying to find what events will give themselves and the team the best opportunity for success. The group of girls that are out understand that success is not a given and are out there working hard everyday to accomplish their goals."
