Track Teams Compete in Hoxie
The St. Francis High School track teams traveled to Hoxie on Friday, April 13th, to compete in the Hoxie Invitational Track and Field Meet. The Indians placed third in a closely contested five team meet. The Lady Indians earned a 4th place finish in the team standings.
The team standings for the boys division were: 1st - Hill City 123; 2nd - Hoxie 107; 3rd - St. Francis 102; 4th - Grainfield/Wheatland 100; and 5th - Cheylin 78. Isaac Schiltz was a double winner earning first place in the high jump and triple jump.

The team standings for the girls division were: 1st - Hoxie 177; 2nd - Grainfield/Wheatland 116; 3rd - Hill City 89; 4th - St. Francis 79; and 5th - Cheylin 55. Valerie Wurm, in the 100 meter hurdles, was the only event winner for the Lady Indians.
