Dundy County Stratton Invitational Results

The Dundy County Stratton Invitational Track Meet was held on Monday, April 23rd.  The meet was rescheduled due to weather from and earlier date.  Nine teams participated in the meet.  Cambridge won the boys division and Southwest won the girls division.

St. Francis placed 4th in the boys division.  Placing in the meet for the St. Francis boys team were:

Thomas Douthit:  3rd 100 meter dash 11.60; 3rd 200 meter dash 24.20

Logan Lampe:  5th 200 meter dash 24.70

Steve Nelson:  5th 110 meter hurdles 18.80

Isaac Schiltz:  1st high jump 5' 8"; 1st pole vault 13' 8"

Casey Keller:  4th high jump 5' 6"

Mason Schiltz:  2nd pole vault 12' 6"; 8th high jump 5' 2"

Wyatt Landenberger:  6th long jump 18' 3 1/2"

Cade Bracelin:  8th shot put 38' 8"

4 X 100 meter relay:  (Logan Lampe, Derek Queen, Tyler Raby, Thomas Douthit) 2nd 46.80

Cambridge ran away with the boys team title with 174.5 points. Dundy County/Stratton placed second with 139 points. The remainder of the field finished in the following order:  3rd Arapahoe 95, 4th St. Francis 66; 5th Medicine Valley 63; 6th Southwest 40; 7th Wauneta/Palisade 29.5; 8th Hayes Center 26, and 9th Maywood 20.

The St. Francis girls placed eighth in the team standings. Scoring for St. Francis in the girls division were:

Val Wurm:  5th pole vault 7' 0"; 6th 100 meters 14.30

Shelby Cassaw:  3rd 1600 meters 6:49.40

McKayla Taylor:  4th 100 meter hurdles 17.90

Dallas Reed:  4th pole vault 7' 0"

Echo Jones:  3rd long jump 14' 2"

Aly Northrup: 6th triple jump 28' 7"

4 X 100 meter relay:  (Echo Jones, McKayla Taylor, Mariah Beikman, Val Wurm) 5th 56.00

4 X 400 meter relay:  (Justice Wiley, Aly Schlepp, Ashlee Orth, Laura Brunk) 5th 4:48.00

Southwest easily out-scored the other teams in the meet with 164 points.  Dundy County/Stratton placed second with 88 points.  The other teams finished in the following order:  3rd Maywood 81; 4th Arapahoe 77; 5th Cambridge 76; 6th Wauneta/Palisade 49; 7th Medicine Valley 41; 8th St. Francis 38, and 9th Hayes Center 17.

The teams will be be in action at the St. Francis Invitational Track and Field Meet in St. Francis on Tuesday, April 24th.  The meet begins at 3:00 PM.
