Boys Place 2nd In St. Francis Invitational
The St. Francis Invitational Track and Field Meet was held on Tuesday, April 24th. Thirteen teams competed for the team championship with Decatur Community winning both the boys and girls divisions. St. Francis placed 2nd in the boys division and 11th in the girls division.
Decatur Community scored 76 points to earn first place in the boys division. St. Francis was second with 65 points. Oakley placed third with 56.5, narrowly edging Wallace County who scored 55. The remainder of the competing boys teams finished in the following order: 5th Burlington 51.5, 6th Hoxie 45, 7th (tie) Cheylin and Weskan 44, 9th Bethune 40, 10th (tie) Triplains and Greeley County 22; 12th Rawlins County, and 13th Brewster 16.
