By Seth Tumbleson
The Logan/Palco Trojans came to Greene Field Saturday afternoon with an undefeated record. Their last two games ended because they 45’d the opponents. However, the Indians chopped the Trojans’ record down and Logan/Palco left Saint Francis at halftime with their first loss, the scoreboard read 46-0.
Senior Josiah Sims said, “My favorite part of the game was when everyone started having fun.”
Saint Francis Indians limited the Trojans to 36 plays for 126 yards at their homecoming game.
Freshman Jordan Smull said he was encouraged that after he made a mistake he was built up by his teammates who said he would do better.
Senior Shadryon Blanka said he enjoyed when they started playing as a team.
Senior Kobe Tice agreed with Blanka. “I had the most fun when we were playing to our fullest potential.”
The homecoming game, originally scheduled for Friday night, was rescheduled to Saturday due to KSHAA regulations. All homecoming activities, aside from the dance, were rescheduled to last week. Seniors Adam Krien and Emma LaLond were crowned homecoming king and queen at Friday's pep rally. They were crowned by the 2000 Homecoming Queen Dani McAtee.
