Keigan Taylor senior feature

By Ben Busse

Keigan Taylor is a hardworking senior with a bright future.

“In ten years, I want to own a house, have a wife, and live a long happy life,” Taylor said.

Taylor isn’t sure where he wants to go to college at yet or if he wants to go to college at all.

Sophomore Garrett Helton said, “When I spend time with him he always lightens the mood and puts off a good vibe.”

Helton and Taylor spend lots of time together outside of school when Taylor isn’t working.

“I don’t have a lot of hobbies outside of school, I mainly just work,” Taylor said.

Taylor works at Parkhill restaurant in St.Francis.

“I would much rather work than go to school, I think it is way more productive,” he said.

Taylor had to quarantine for two weeks which didn’t allow him to work.

“I missed not being able to work or see my friends at school but I got to play lots of video games which is one of my favorite things to do,” said Taylor.

Tyson Poling has been one of Taylor's best friends since kindergarten.

Poling said “I love spending time with Keigan we have so much in common and always have a ton of laughs when we are together, I have some of my favorite memories with him.”

Taylor said “The thing I am most looking forward to in my senior year is making lots of great memories with my classmates and friends.”

Taylor is very close with his friends.

“I plan on doing track this year, I was very excited last year before the quarantine hit. It's the only school sport I do and enjoy so I'm excited for it this year,” Taylor said.

Taylor is one of the fastest kids in the whole high school when it comes to short distance.

Helton said “I am going to miss seeing him everyday at school but I think he will do great things in his future.”
