Music Students Perform Well at League Contest
Stephanie Perry and Logan Whitmore Earn AP Ratings!
The junior high music students participated in the Northwest Kansas League Junior High Music Festival in Colby on Wednesday, February 13th. The students performed very well.
Earning I ratings were: Stephanie Perry and Sarah Whitmore - flute solos; Nariah Hamilton - alto clarinet solo and vocal solo; Sarah Whitmore and Logan Whitmore - piano solos; 8th Grade Brass Quartet (Logan Whitmore, Kaitlin Figgins, Jacquelyn Ketzner, and Ross Nicklos); Percussion Ensemble (Isaac Schiltz, Ty Zweygardt, Brock Zweygardt, Sam Reed, and Zach Gienger); 7th Girls Vocal Trio (Crissy Harris, Chloe Miller, and Sarah Whitmore); Boys Vocal Ensemble; and Girls Large Vocal Ensemble. Also earning top honors at the festival with Advanced Performance ratings and medals were Stephanie Perry - vocal solo and Logan Whitmore - trumpet solo.
