2008-2009 Cheerleaders Selected
After school Friday afternoon, March 14th, several hopeful girls performed with the intent of impressing a panel of judges in the 2008-2009 cheerleader try-outs. Many of the girls had been practicing cheers and dances for several weeks in preparation for the big day. When the try-outs were completed, the following girls were announced as cheerleaders for the 2008-2009 seasons.
Football Cheerleaders: Taryn Richard (Head); Andrea Holzwarth, Cara Hunt, Aubree Schlepp, Amber Smull, and Candice Wiese.
Basketball Cheerleaders: Candice Wiese (Head), Megan Gilliand, Aubree Schlepp
Wrestling Cheerleaders: Taryn Richard (Head), Sarah Guthmiller, Cara Hunt, and Amber Smull
