B Team: Junior High Girls Basketball
Loss to Colby: 13-25

Comments: The first half of the game was very close until the last minute or so of the second quarter. We got tired and Colby was able to take advantage of a few lapses in our defensive pressure. In the second half, we were unable to get into our offense as efficiently as we wanted, and the Eagles used a few opportunities steal the ball and score easy baskets. The pressure we were able to apply in the last few minutes of the game allowed us to do the same to Colby.
Certainly, we have a lot of work in front of us to become more skilled basketball players, but the effort put forth by these girls was very encouraging. And as we all know, effort is the first step toward becoming good at anything, be it basketball or a profession. They have all worked hard in practice and have shown improvement since the beginning of the year.
