Indians Defeat Rawlins County 44-30
The Indian wrestling squad defeated Rawlins County 44-30 on Friday evening, February 13th in the last NWKL dual of the season. Only a few matches were wrestled as both teams had several open weights and many weights did not match up.
At 112 pounds, Freddy Pacheco won by forfeit; at 119, David Leibbrandt lost by fall; at 125, Cody Sherlock won by forfeit; at 130, Terrance Lamb won by an 11-2 decision; at 135, Darris Keller won by forfeit; at 145, Jesse Pacheco won by forfeit; at 160, Grady Brunk won by a 10-1 decision; at 171, Scott Ford won by fall; at 189, Adam Guthmiller won by forfeit.
In junior varsity action, Logan Whitmore and Ross Nichols both lost by falls.
