Junior High Wrestlers Defeat Colby
The St. Francis junior high wrestling team defeated Colby on February 19th winning 24 matches and losing only ten. The young Indians had 41 takedowns, 14 nearfalls, 6 reversals, 7 escapes, and 9 falls during the evening.
Winning multiple matches on the evening were: Casey Keller, Lane Hoffman, Foster Grant, Mason Schiltz, Logan Lampe, Dylan Wolaver, and Thomas Douthit. Winning single matches were: Taylor O'Leary, Joey McCormick, Wyatt Landenberger, Keegan Sherlock, Zach Gienger, Lucas Carmichael, Gaten Cooper, Austin White, Mikey Leibbrandt, and Dillon Straub.
Coach Jenkins made the following comment about the performance, "This might be as good of a performance as we've had from a St. Francis junior high wrestling team in a long, long time. I don't know what we will do Tuesday at the league tournament, but as for tonight--tremendous."
