MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL BOARD MEETING––JULY 28, 2009
A special meeting of the Board was called to order at 7:46 a.m.
on the above date by Vice-President Kelly Gienger in the St.
Francis Superintendent’s office, with all members present except
Mary Beth Miller and Sherry Weeks. Mary Beth Miller arrived
later.
A motion was made by John Knodel, seconded by Derrick Tice, and
carried to approve the agenda.
The main purpose for this special meeting was a review of the proposed budget for FY 2010. Following review and discussion of all funds in the FY 2010 budget, Bonnie Zweygardt moved, John Knodel seconded, and it carried that the FY 2010 budget be published in the July 30 edition of the St. Francis Herald as proposed. The overall mill levy for this budget is projected at 35.210 mills (last year’s budget was 35.405 mills). The budget hearing is scheduled to be held at the next regular Board meeting on August 13.
At 8:47 a.m., Derrick Tice moved that the meeting adjourn; the motion was seconded by John Knodel and carried.
