JV Football Team Completes Undefeated Season
Indians Defeat Rawlins County 44-8
On Monday, October 19th, the St. Francis Indian junior varsity football team defeated Rawlins County in St. Francis. The 44-8 victory capped an undefeated season for the team.
In the Rawlins County game, the Indians scored first on a 20 yard touchdown run by Ty Zweygardt. Ty then ran 70 yards for another first quarter touchdown to make the score 16-0 early in the game. St. Francis later scored on an 80 yard run by Zweygardt, a 50 yard run by Brett Lampe, a 34 yard pass from Lampe to Gavin Cooper, and a 62 yard run by Dylan Wolaver. Conversions were scored by Cody Killingsworth (3) and Zach Gienger (on a pass from Lampe).
