Student Teacher Helping at Grade School
St. Francis Elementary School has a new student teacher completing her training under the supervision of Lynnette Nolan. Our new student teacher for the fifth grade, Kara Rodriguez, comes from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. She has a major in Elementary Education and minors in Reading in the Elementary Grades and History.
Although Kara has lived in Michigan for the past seven years, she is originally from Long Valley, New Jersey. Kara’s husband, Tony is a police officer with the Saint Francis Police Department, where they now live.
Mrs. Rodriguez will be working with the fifth grade students enrolled in Mrs. Nolan's courses. She will also help with 5th grade math under the supervision of Julie Wolters and 5th grade reading taught by Becky McAtee.
Welcome to our school, Mrs. Rodriguez!
